Body Image in Focus, a Practical 3-part Workshop Series for Dietitians and Clinicians

Body image conversations can be some of the most meaningful - and challenging -parts of our work. Many of us didn’t receive formal training in this area, so it’s no surprise if you’ve ever felt unsure, stuck, or overwhelmed when these topics show up in session.

Workshop Details:

  • Live Session:

    • July 23rd 7-8:30pm EDT = July 24th 9-10:30am AEST

    • August 13th 7-8:30pm EDT = August 14th 9-10:30am AEST

    • September 10th 7-8:30pm EDT = September 11th 9-10:30am AEST

  • CPEUs: 4 (approval pending)

  • Access: Lifetime access to all replays and downloads

  • Fee: $97 USD

Session Topics:
Session 1 – Finding the Words
Effective language for body image conversations (Led by Marci & Fiona)

Session 2 – Checking, Avoidance, and Distress
Tools to shift unhelpful behaviors (Led by Fiona)

Session 3 – Tracing the Threads
Using a body image timeline to guide care (Led by Marci)

This three-part workshop series is designed to help you feel more confident and better equipped to support clients experiencing body image distress. Whether you’re just starting or have been in this work for years, each session offers practical tools, trauma-informed frameworks, and client-ready language you can begin using right away. If you’ve completed our Body Image Training, or are part-way through, this series will be a perfect adjunct; it does not repeat anything within the course itself but will bolster your existing learning and bring in new skills and practices.

Across the series, we’ll explore:

  • How to begin and stay with body image conversations

  • Supporting clients through body checking, avoidance, and distress

  • Using the Body Image Timeline as a reflective, trauma-aware tool

Hosted by Fiona Sutherland and Marci Evans - long-time collaborators and passionate educators in body image work - you’ll also have space to ask questions, reflect with peers, and bring your real-world practice into the room.

The ED Pathway Consultation Series 2025

This 75-minute monthly online consultation series from August to December 2025 is for Dietitians who are completing Step 2 of the ED Training Pathway (included in your course) or have previously completed multi-day Eating Disorder training. Facilitated by experienced clinicians, each session offers a reflective, supportive space to explore real-world challenges, ethical dilemmas, and practice questions. Sessions include themed discussions, practical scenarios, and time for Q&A, helping bring your learning to life.

Please note this is not supervision and cannot be counted toward CEDC Supervision hours (but can be used for CPD and CEDC-related CPD). All sessions are recorded and available on an accessible platform.

Designed to support reflection, build clinical confidence, explore complex dynamics, and foster connection with peers in the field. We hope you can join us!

Group Supervision Training

August 5th & 12th 2025, 8am-11:30am AEST (check your timezone here)

Group supervision is distinct from individual supervision and requires both group facilitation and reflective supervision skills. This practical training supports Dietitians to confidently lead group spaces that are safe, inclusive, and growth-oriented. You’ll explore how groups can deepen reflection, connection, and learning in ways not possible in 1:1 settings. Ideal for Dietitians new to supervision or wanting to strengthen group facilitation skills, this workshop welcomes practitioners from all areas – private, clinical, or community. Leave feeling clearer, more skilled, and ready to lead meaningful group supervision.
